With a blend of 55% Marselan, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 9% Cabernet Franc, this award-winning wine displays a beautiful ruby colour. The wine has a fragrant bouquet with aromas of red berries, violet and plum, with a soft dedicate palate and delightful finish.

Rongzi Winery is situated on the beautiful, great Loess Plateau (35°-36°N, altitude 3600 feet), in Shanxi, in the central region of China where the early cradle of Chinese civilisation was formed. The Loess soil is more than 200 metres thick, and the area has an outstanding natural microclimate. Rongzi is a state-of-the-art wine producer, and the meticulous attention to detail in both the vineyard and the winery guarantee elegance and finesse in the winery’s whole range of wines.

 

The winemaker at Rongzi is world-renowned Jean-Claude Berrouet, former winemaker of the famous Château Pétrus.
