With a blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Marselan and 13% Merlot, this multi-award-winning wine displays a deep ruby colour, with ripe strawberry and cherry, vanilla and cigar box aromas and violet note throughout. A well-structured wine with great depth, smooth tannins. 

Rongzi Winery is situated on the beautiful, great Loess Plateau (35°-36°N, altitude 3600 feet), in Shanxi, in the central region of China where the early cradle of Chinese civilisation was formed. The Loess soil is more than 200 metres thick, and the area has an outstanding natural microclimate. Rongzi is a state-of-the-art wine producer, and the meticulous attention to detail in both the vineyard and the winery guarantee elegance and finesse in the winery’s whole range of wines.

 

The winemaker at Rongzi is world-renowned Jean-Claude Berrouet, former winemaker of the famous Château Pétrus.
