Tasting notes: This Cabernet Sauvignon displays a very attractive bright ruby colour, and the nose reveals seductive black fruit aromas mixed with sweet spices and a hint of leather. The palate mirrors the nose with a silky texture, a lively acidity with smooth tannins.
Pairing: This wine pairs well with chicken, pork, fish and spicy food.
About the Winery: Rongzi winery is in the Shanxi region in central northern China. Vines are grown at high altitude - 1000m on a loess rich plateau. The winemaking here is overseen by Jean-Claude Berrouet, previously winemaker at Château Pétrus.
